Can't pee = urinary retention
Can't see = blurred vision
Can't spit = dry mouth
Can't shit = constipation
Anticholinergics: Anti-Cholinergic effects ==> can't digest = can't pee, can't shit, can't salivate (no secretions = dry mouth)
- Hot as a Hades: increased body temperature
- Blind as a bat: mydriasis (dilated pupils)
- Dry as a bone: dry mouth, dry eyes, decreased sweat (think Boner = erection)
- Red as a beet: flushed face (think tachy)
- Mad as a hatter: delirium - impaired memory & confusion
