Mnemonics to remember schedule III drugs:


-3 types: appetite, body builder, tylenol/codeine drugs

- It all started when he starts taking Codeine/Acetaminophen for his pain after working out at the gym and butalbital for his migraine. He was already taking anabolic steroids (Oxa-drolone) to look good in ..... with his girlfriend.  He also had to take Oral Marinol to help him eat more and more. Meanwhile, his girlfriend had to take benz (didrex) while with him so that she can stay skinny looking perfect in her benz.

- oral marinol is in fact oral marijuana. However, it's only schedule III because it doesn't have that special ingredient as street marijuana.

- anabolics is stage III because it's fairly abused but not as addictive as vicodin; however, not as harmless as innocent tramadol class.

Ex:
- Appetite drugs: stimulant (Marinol); suppressant (benzphetamine Didrex)
- Anabolic steroids: Oxandrolone (Oxandrin)
- Codeine as part of the pain-relief or cough-depressants: Codeine/Acetaminophen
